I currently teach kids' yoga at
Girls' Prep, NYC's only all-girls public elementary school, where I teach 20-25 classes a week to children ages 5-12. As Girls' Prep's first full-time yoga teacher, I created and implemented a year-long curriculum emphasizing asana practice, nutrition, mindfulness, and body awareness. I aim to teach in a way that's both public-school-friendly and complete in the yogic tradition, providing tools of health and self-esteem for life. I also teach adult Vinyasa classes in studios and privately, with an emphasis on intention, mindfulness and breath.
I've completed trainings with Karma Kids Yoga, MiniYogis, YogaEd, and YogiBeans, as well as a 200-hr training through Yoga to the People, a donation-based studio founded on the teachings of Bryan Kest. Also a writer, I've taught Yoga and Creative Writing workshops, and owe much of my creative work to my practices of yoga and meditation.
